Is the guest laundry really free?

Yes. Our guest laundry is complimentary for all guests and includes the washer, dryer and detergent. It is available daily from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Please collect your laundry before closing time.
What is in the complimentary coffee lounge?

Our Level 1 guest lounge is open to all guests and includes self-serve coffee, tea, filtered water and complimentary biscuits. It is a calm space to plan your day or relax after exploring Cairns.
Can I use the laundry between reef trips?

Yes. The laundry is one of the reasons guests on longer reef and Tropical North Queensland trips choose The Abbott. We also offer free luggage storage between liveaboard reef trips.
Is laundry detergent provided?

Yes. Liquid detergent and softener are provided free of charge so you do not need to bring your own.
